Just received a new present from myself in the mail! I found these shoes 50% off on asos.com. These metallic brocade print wedges feature Swarovski crystal detailing up the back. The heel height on these babies raises me up a whole 6"!

Some Sexy (and Free!) Christmas Cheer

A few weeks ago Victoria's Secret had a special invite-only holiday shopping party after the mall had closed. There were lots of goodies to be had with a DJ, refreshments, and prize draws every fifteen minutes. With special discounts and bonus items such as a T-Shirt from the Victoria's Secret 2011 fashion show, it was a merry night for all who attended!

Nacho Aguayo - Spring/Summer 2012

More Spring and Summer fashion fun! Nacho Aguayo. I think the turquoise and orangey-red colours are fantastic both on their own and together. Will def be on the lookout for those colours next spring. I love the simple clean lines in the pieces and am wanting wanting wanting the dress in the second shot!

David Koma Spring 2012

OK, it's going down to -7 tonight, so time for some more warm weather dreaming to escape reality! Here are a few shots of David Koma's Spring 2012 Ready-To-Wear Collection. I love the strong geometric shapes in all of the pieces. I also love how he has taken this year's trend of the cut-out dress to the next level with multiple cutouts creating such dynamic patterns. He has also done a fabulous job of carrying out these geometric shapes and lines into the model's hair.

Fashion Survives the Apocalypse

Today's Inspiration comes from an Art Director I happened to stumble upon. Formerly an Art Director at Surface Magazine, I find Christopher Mozsary's projects so visually stunning. The shoots are so conceptually strong. His vision behind a piece called 'Lost Highway" was “Imagine the apocalypse came and wiped out everything but chic people and hot design.”... check out the last two photos here... Just how I imagined that might look...

Haven't been posting as much as I would like lately. One of the things of owning your own business and being a  freelance designer/art director you don't always have a set schedule and new work and projects can come up at any time.

If there was an award for comfiest outfit, I think this one might win. I got these great moccasins at a small store on the outskirts of where I grew up.
